Indore is one such city which has seen drastic development in recent years. I have spent my childhood in this city by during this visit of mine I was unable to recognize this town. But what remained the same was the heart of the town i.e its food joints. If you are one who has food fetish then this is just the right place for you specially for the street food lovers. Names of the markets here might be weird but the food is just of the right taste.

Chappan is one market that spreads its magic among people during day time and Sarafa market is the night queen. Not only ready to eat food is popular in Indore but this city is also famous for its namkeen and sweets. Take for example when you think of shikangi, lemon soda would be in your mind? But when you have shikangi in this city you will get a new version that is sweet filled with dry fruits or you can simply say some what melted kulfi. Same it the case with potato patties they are different and tastier than the usual ones.

While talking about Indore how can I miss the famous panvala! Can you believe that some one in Indore sells pan in Mercedes? Well it all happens in this food city. A sandwich maker who sells 40 different types of sandwiches amongst which chocolate sandwich is my personal favourite. The hot dog maker who sells irresistible hot dogs and benjos which is simply egg in bun served with a slice of onion and green chutni.
