5 skills every traveler must have!

Yeah you read that right, I said -must- have.

I kid you not, these skills will save your life, time, money and sanity on your trip!

1. Know how to wash clothes in the sink

Cause you know, disposable clothes are great, but you know what’s better? knowing how to wash clothes in the sink, it’s actually quite easy, and great for when you want to wear the same comfy clothes more than two times in the week, but don’t want to spend on laundry.

2. Know how to use a needle and thread

Seriously, last minute rips and cuts, or broken buttons on your favorite shirt, or pants is going to render them useless for the rest of the trip, learn to stitch them back on, so there’s no baggage in your luggage!

3. Know how to drive a manual car

This is a great skill to have if you’re planning to rent a car by yourself or even in the group. Not every part of the world has an automatic car, brownie points if you can drive a car that doesn’t have a set gear panel and is a stick shift.

4. Know how to locate the embassy in the spoken language of the destination

This cannot be stressed on, enough; in fact here’s a list of things you should be able to say in the spoken language of your destination. It’ll save your skin more often than you can imagine.

5. Know how to pack smartly

You’d think packing a travel bag isn’t something you can go wrong with. Well you can, and most of the times not even realize it. Here are a few tips that should get you going in the right direction.
